Nepali singing sensation Anju Panta has apologized to her fans if her decision not to sing a Hindu hymns has hurt them. Recently, there was news that singer refused to sing a song' objecting that the lyrics contains Hinduism word. Panta opined that her Christion religion doesn't permit her to sing such songs.
Panta apologised for her opinion through a letter.In the letter, she writes, ‘I am everybody's singer and I assure you all that I had never intended to hurt any religion in any way, nor will I in the future. The news about me has saddened me. I respect all journalist, audience, lovers of Nepali music and people of various faiths. I apologise if I made any mistakes unknowingly.’
In her letter she has indicted her communal statement as a mistake but keeps her silence over singing such songs, while perusing her singing career in coming days.She was highly criticized all over the social network sites, claiming that artist are above all sorts of class and religion.
